"I am a tutor with a passion for helping students achieve their goals! I received my associate degree from College of Southern Maryland in general studies. After that I went to University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) and received my bachelor degree in Psychology with a 3.9 GPA. Once I graduated I loved the subject so much that I decided to get my masters degree from Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) with a degree in Psychology and child and adolescent behavior, which I received a 4.0 GPA. Since then I currently work for UMGC as a financial aid counselor where I work with students on a day to day basis.

Additionally, I have tutored friends and family who needed to take a psychology class for their degree. I helped students complete assignments, plan for future projects, helped outline papers, and guide students through PowerPoint presentations.

I have a drive to be the best I can be, and do my very best to instill that same drive in the students I tutor. My tutoring style involves simplifying complex concepts, so that my students are able to establish a general idea of the subject before diving into the subject as a whole.

What is great about being tutored by me is that I absolutely love this subject. I make sure that you are engaged and having fun when I try to explain different theories and concepts that you can relate to. I use a lot of videos and visual aids that the psychology community has provided so that we are not just reading straight from a textbook.
