"My name is William, a Masters in Computer Science graduate student from UCLA (soon-to-be alumni!). I seriously love programming, I was hooked on it ever since I started in high school. In terms of tutoring and teaching experience, I worked as a private and college-hired (UCSC, UCLA) computer science tutor throughout my 5 years of university, at my local Takewondo studio as an Instructor and Coach for 4 years, as a Peer Navigator for students coming into college, and I volunteer with local businesses/organizations to help the needy. During my time teaching, I've worked with students of all ages. I've worked with many young children and teenagers as a Taekwondo Instructor, tutored high schoolers and college students computer science, and worked with parents and the elderly as an Taekwondo Instructor and during my volunteering activities.

For my technical competencies, I previously interned at Roblox and Maxar Technologies as a Software Engineer, at the Santa Cruz Institute for Particle Physics as a Research Assistant, and am currently doing research with my advisor at UCLA. At Roblox I worked on unifying two high-performance products handling over 220,000 total requests per second in each deployed region. At Maxar Technologies I developed an internal system feature for the Galaxy-31 and Galaxy-32 Intelsat C-band satellites. At the Santa Cruz Institute for Particle Physics I developed a machine learning program to identify Higgs boson particle's correlating variables.

In terms of relevant exams, I got a 5 on my AP Computer Science A test." less...
