"Need help with your college essay or all things regarding college applications, including how to navigate CommonApp and Financial Aid Applications? I have a Master's degree in Family and Consumer Sciences Education with a focus in Child Development and Early Childhood studies. I am in my seventeenth year of teaching in New Jersey public schools. I am currently a high school Child Development teacher and the advisor for the "Colleges and Career Development" extracurricular club at the high school in which I am employed. As a Child Development educator, a large part of the content in which I teach is teaching high school seniors “how to teach” reading and writing (literacy) to young children. My classes are comprised of high school seniors interested in pursuing a career in Early Childhood Education (pre-k-3).

Before teaching high school, I taught at the middle school level for two years. I also teach students in my "Colleges and Career Development" club how to apply for jobs, interviewing skills, resume and cover letter writing, college essay guidance, as well as organizational and study skills.

I am available for reading and writing tutoring at the elementary level to middle school level. I incorporate games and fun activities to keep the interest of the student and make learning fun! I provide Homework Help for Kindergarten through grade 6, and college essay writing for high school students.
