"I have been in healthcare for greater than 25 years. I started as a certified medical assistant. I eventually pursued certification as a nursing assistant as it was a prerequisite to nursing school. I continued my education obtaining an Associates Degree from WITC, Bachelors of Science Nursing from Viterbo, followed by a Master's Degree in Nursing, specializing as an Adult-Geriatric Primary Care Nure Practitioner from the University of North Dakota-Grand Forks. I also obtained licensure as an EMT Basic, and EMT Intermediate; I also completed an Advanced Paramedic Care degree in 2005 from CVTC.

My nursing experience crosses multiple specialties; emergency medicine, medical/surgical, surgical prep and recovery, gastroenterology, neurology, pediatrics, palliative care, and hospice. I have been a clinical instructor for first and second year nursing students, as well as nurse practitioner students.

The subjects I can tutor include anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, complex health alterations, also can assist with patient assessment, history, and clinical skills.
