I have a Bachelors degree in Biology and while working on my undergrad, I tutored Chemistry and really enjoyed it. At various times over the past 7 years, I have taught a Biology activity course as well as lab, at Cal Poly Pomona and also tutored students in the San Marino, South Pasadena and Arcadia area. I have successfully tutored students from a wide range of backgrounds; including students with cognitive challenges as well as gifted individuals attending universities like Cal Tech. I really enjoy tutoring as well as teaching because I have always had a passion for learning and like to share what I know with others. It is especially rewarding when I see my students understand material that they once found challenging. I have a strong base in Chemistry, Biology, Genetics, Molecular Bio, Algebra (I & II), Geometry, and proofreading.
