"I have tutored computer science (coding/programming), math, and general computer skills for over 7 years. My students have ranged in age from 7 to over 77! If you're looking to learn C++ or Java (the language of AP Computer Science), I'm your guy. For younger children, the Scratch programming environment may be less intimidating. If you're feeling overwhelmed by the computer at work, and need training with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, turn to me. My qualifications:

- I have a B. S. in computer science from NYU's engineering school.

- Computer science and math were my two best subjects in school.

- I have over 16 years of programming experience!

- Over the years, I have written many of my own computer science and math lesson plans, but can also adapt my teaching methods to students' textbooks, school curricula, and interests.

IMPORTANT: I have strong preferences for teaching course material, and helping people study for upcoming exams, over doing homework help, because A LOT of students have come to me for a type of "homework help" that places me in a VERY uncomfortable position. PLEASE DON'T come to me for homework help, if you are struggling so much that you basically have to be "carried" through the assignment! Rule of thumb: "Can I do at least half of this work without help?" If so, I'm willing to help you.
