My name is Anais R. and I am a private tutor here in Miami Dade. Tutoring my client, I discovered my passion for teaching and seeing students learn, so I decided to branch out through WyzAnt. I am super excited to meet with new students and watch them succeed!

A little about me: I am a graduate from Florida International University. I majored in English Literature with a focus in creative writing, so I'm all about reading, language, grammar, and sentence structures. I am equally fluent in Spanish, and I can speak a little Japanese too. I studied abroad in Kyoto last summer which was an amazing experience.

Apart from English, I also love math. I graduated from Miami Dade College with an AA degree in chemistry. I took up to calculus 3, so I can tackle every math subject. In fact, I am helping my current client in math this year - he's in 11th grade, trying to catch up on Algebra 2. English and math are my strong suits, although I can do chemistry and Biology too.

For tutoring, I don't mind driving. We can meet pretty much anywhere. I'm all about hands on. My current client is a student on Florida Virtual schools, and it's difficult to work through emails and phone. Students always learn best when there's someone there to guide them and show them.
