"I always knew that I loved math and physics, and when I was entering college I asked my father for guidance/assistance as to what direction I should pursue in college and subsequently my career. I remember he asked me "What do you love and what do you do well?". I answered honestly saying I loved math and I was good at solving problems. Well, this was very clear according to my father that I should then be an Electrical Engineer. So, about 20 years ago I completed my BS in Electrical Engineering and began a successful career leading me to my current position as Sr. Director/Division Manager for a Federal Contractor. This still has left me feeling unsatisfied, I really was not happy. During raising my two girls it became clear that I really loved teaching/tutoring them in math and physics. My oldest, currently a high school senior, reached the highest levels in honors and AP classes including AP BC Calculus. I am certified to teach math K-12 in New Jersey in preparation to transition from my current career.
