"My name is Nick P. I am a math and science teacher / mentor aiding students in the areas of mathematics and science. I began my teaching path in the winter of 2002 when I began working with the Metropolitan Center for Urban Education at New York University. I earned my BA and MS degrees from New York University with a concentration in biology, chemistry, economics, and general science, and obtained teaching credentials in science education from Fordham University and City College of New York. I have been actively involved in the education sector for almost fifteen years, teaching in private and public schools, and providing services to educational institutions in the greater New York City area. I enjoy the outdoors, taking nature walks, hiking, and am active in the area of personal development. I am also a certified Vinyasa Yoga instructor, and have been practicing yoga and conscious living for over ten years.

I have always had an inclination for the education of others. As far back as I can remember, I never turn down the opportunity to explain something when people do not understand, especially when it comes to math and science.
