"I have over 20 years of experience tutoring in math and science. I have a strong math and science foundation. I received my PhD in Molecular Genetics in 2006 from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and I currently work at the University of Chicago as a research scientist. I use math and science in my everyday life. My goal as a tutor is not only to help students learn math and science, but also to share my enthusiasm and passion for these subjects. When I work with students, I make sure that that they understand the concepts before moving on. I give students additional practice problems to ensure that they understand the concepts, and I have the student explain the concepts back to me.
