"Hello! My enthusiasm for teaching and tutoring comes from the simple motto that there is nothing you can't do if you sincerely try. I hold my students to a high standard in class and I expect the same from everyone that I teach. I have had students who had low self-esteem and poor grades completely turn their schooling experience around and outperform some of my high-achievers. I love the feeling when a student says that they understand something for the first time. My goal is to make sure that every child has that experience.

I was a public school teacher in Charlotte where I taught Middle and High School Math and Science. I graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Chemistry and Secondary Education as a North Carolina Teaching Fellow. I followed that path and completed my Masters of Education in Instructional Design.

Due to my college degree, I have a firm grasp of math subjects up through the Calculus level as well as all middle and high school science courses. I am also well versed in most college chemistry classes, as well as basic college biology and physics.
