"Hello, my name’s Andrea, and after eight years working as an engineer, I'm taking my love of math and science and pairing it up with my love of teaching to help other budding engineers - or those who just want to pass algebra - understand and succeed in STEM subjects.

My preferred method of teaching/tutoring is to first explain the concept, then work through an example problem, followed by helping the student complete a problem, and end with the student successfully completing a problem unassisted. Of course, sometimes it takes more examples for a concept to fully make sense, and I’m happy to help all along the way.
