"Hello! My name is Krutant, an experienced tutor in math, science, and engineering!
I’m currently an Electrical Engineering PhD student. Still in school myself, this means I have experience being on both sides of the learning process, as a student and as a teacher. I have taken many high-level calculus courses, including partial differential equations and linear algebra. On the electrical engineering side of things, I have exceled in digital and analog circuit design, as well as digital signal processing. Electromagnetics is my focus area in grad school. On the teaching side, I have taught several math and science courses both on the high school and undergraduate level. The typical age of my students is 15-22, but I believe learning is possible at any age.
Many times, students see the amount of material that they must cover and immediately lose motivation. Don't worry, this is the standard response. What matters is to tackle the material head on, breaking it down into bite-sized chunks, and learn it step by step. I've developed several methods for remembering equations or concepts, as well as processes for solving certain types of problems. I have experience teaching both in person and online.
Specifically, my areas of expertise are math and physics, as well as computer coding. I've tutored students in high school math courses (Algebra, Statistics, Calculus, Trigonometry, Geometry), as well as prep for standardized testing such as the ACT and SAT. At the college level, my focus has been Calculus, Physics, and coding languages such as MATLAB and Visual Basic.
I just want to end with a note about learning any new subject. Learning is process, and each new subject will be difficult. However, what's even more important than subject material is figuring out how to learn, and what your learning style is. Over time, once you get better at learning, you can master a new subject much more quickly. If there's one thing I hope to teach you, its how to learn.
Thank you for reading, I hope to talk soon!
