"I graduated from the University of Oklahoma in May 2014 with my bachelors in Petroleum Engineering and my minor in Geology. Through my course of study, I have taken many classes in math and science. Among these classes are: Calculus I-IV, Differential Equations, Numerical Methods, Geology, Geophysics, Fluid Mechanics, Reservoir Fluid Properties, etc. I have knowledge of grade school math (pre-algebra, algebra 1 & 2, pre-calculus, calculus) and science (biology, anatomy and physiology, geology, physical sciences). I also performed well on my standardized tests (SAT and ACT - all subjects).
I have tutored students in a variety of subjects and have found that the tutoring approach differs from student to student. Therefore, I like to observe the student and identify where mistakes are being made (if any) and correct the behavior through explanation and positive reinforcement. I have a true love and passion for math and science and I feel that is important in a teacher/tutor.
