"I graduated from Stony Brook University with a bachelor's degree in applied mathematics and statistics. I continued my education pursuing a master's degree in data science at Georgia Institution of Technology. I am a CRLA level III certified tutor with 8 years of experience. My favorite math subjects to tutor are calculus, algebra, and GRE prep.

My teaching style is geared towards helping students in the long term. My main technique is asking questions until my students reach the answer or understanding on their own. This technique encourages analytical thinking and builds confidence. Students are always surprised by how much they actually know. My goal is to provide you with a tool-kit to succeed on your own, so you won’t need to seek help in the future.

My lessons are typically student led. It's important you know what you struggle with and are able to bring example problems and questions to our sessions. The first step to improving is recognizing what you don’t understand.

What sets me apart as a tutor is that I'm not there to help you improve only your understanding of the course material, but also to help you learn how to problem solve and move forward when you feel stuck.
