"I’ve loved math and numbers since elementary school. At school book fairs, I bought math flashcards. At home, I read the dictionary.

My high school algebra 2/trig teacher piqued my interest in teaching. While earning my B.A. in math at CNU, I tutored calculus 1 in the math lab. After graduating magna cum laude, I continued tutoring at CNU and later became a college algebra instructor.

I love seeing students reach that "a-ha" moment once they understand a perplexing topic. I’m extremely patient, and I encourage students to ask questions. In turn, I use the Socratic Method to ask them probing questions to elicit from them the answers to math problems.

In 2017, I decided to become a full-time math and test prep tutor. I am an AFOQT, ASVAB, OAR, HESI A2, TEAS 7 math and English expert. I also specialize in Accuplacer, ALEKS, CLEP, PERT, and TSI math. I teach students time-saving strategies to significantly improve their test scores.
