"Hello, students! My name is Jon L. I am currently a rising senior at Ashland University, pursuing a degree in Middle Grades Education with my subject areas being Math and Language Arts. I am someone who has always had a passion for working with and spending time with kids. I pursued my first job at 19 years old. It involved feeding tennis balls to beginners of all ages, with kids making up a vast majority of the crowd. Throughout High School and Middle School, I was a student Math tutor. If a student needed help, we would go to the back of the classroom and try and figure things out. And if the classroom got too loud, we would head to the library. Although it has been quite some time since my last tutoring experience, I look forward to tutoring anyone that needs help in the areas I specialize in. This will also be a great head start to my teaching career. I am someone who will get to know you personally and help you excel in whatever you need help in.

I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's in Math has been my passion ever since I was little. Algebra and Elementary Math were my strongest areas of math throughout school. With that being said, I have always excelled in Math and I have always been excellent when it comes to handling numbers and solving equations. Although I have never been a paid tutor, I frequently tutored students throughout Middle School and High-School, assisting them in Algebra I, Algebra II, Pre-Algebra, and sometimes even Geometry and Calculus.

In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis, working out, listening to music, swimming, and hanging out with friends. I am an avid Cleveland sports fan, with the Browns being my favorite team, along with the Michigan Wolverines as my favorite collegiate team. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
