I recently graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a Bachelor of Science in Computational Mathematics and a minor in Cybersecurity. I am currently pursuing my Florida teaching certification and expect to obtain it soon.

I have over three years of experience tutoring students of all ages, from elementary school to college, in both one-on-one and group settings. Additionally, I have managed classrooms as a substitute teacher, which has given me experience teaching diverse students. Each student is different and therefore learns differently, so I like to try different methods to see which helps a student the best. For example, does this student retain information better through repetition? Memorizing Rules? Or do they like to try and solve the problems on their own with a little bit of assistance from me? It's all about helping them retain the information and to eventually be able to solve the problems on their own with critical thinking. Sharing with students that math can be easy to understand, interesting, and have practical uses is a passion of mine!
