"I am a recently retired high school math teacher after teaching for 34 years. I was a department Chairman for the math department for 15 years and also worked at a local community college teaching math for 6 years. I have taught all levels of high school math classes Including Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2, PreCalculus, and Statistics.. I have been tutoring for much of my career and love working one on one with students. I believe “Math Is Life” and anybody can learn math. My process is to listen to students needs and then teach through doing. That is I explain the concept of process involved and get the student active right away, doing the problems. I teach through a discovery method of learning with constant involvement between student and teacher throughout the lesson.
