"A little bit about me... I graduated from Villanova University with a BA in Education and then earned my Masters Degree in Teaching Mathematics. I have been a full-time classroom teacher since I began my career and, more recently, moved into a Math Specialist position where I work with ALL of the math teachers and students in a very large middle school! I LOVE coaching the students. They're always excited for their day with "Ms C" because I'm like the "fun aunt" who brings fun and engaging activities every week:)

Many of my students start off the school year not really liking math and having little or no confidence in their math ability, but I'm happy to say that all changes by the end of the year!

I LOVE when my former students reach out to me to tell me how well prepared they are for high school and to thank me for making math so EASY!

My goal is to take all of the anxiety out of math class!! I tell my students time and time again, "you've got this!!" and they DO! I take difficult pre-algebra lessons and break them down into step-by-step, manageable parts that are easy to understand. My students grow not only in their math skills and standardized testing scores, but also in their confidence and that's the most important thing for me!
