I first began tutoring one-on-one as a volunteer at my high school's math center for two years. In college, I became a paid tutor and supplemental instructor for individuals and small groups, teaching math (especially geometry, algebra, and calculus) and English. My clients were aged 12 and up, and they came from my church and my university, where I attained a 3.8 GPA, graduated with highest honors with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, and became a member of Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society. However, some of my best teaching took place at my apartment as I would host study sessions for my friends before exams (when I wasn't being forced to cook for them).

I love to help people learn and understand. For this reason, I am not a tutor who is satisfied when you arrive at the correct answer; I want to know that you how to get there (and I want you to share that confidence, too). I will ask plenty of questions to understand your reasoning and clear up any misconceptions you may have.
