"I have a deep love of learning about everything and this is expressed in my ability to be patient and methodological with my students. I care for student's success in all areas of life, applying life principles to learning. I am a very nerdy person, having earned the title of Cool Nerd with my students. I attended Georgia Tech and love all things relating to math and Science. Although my main degree is in Electrical Engineering, I have learned a lot about other topics including business and personal development.
My experience includes teaching Physical Science, Chemistry and Latin at a private School for high school age students, teaching Digital Signal Processing Courses for Electrical Engineers, tutoring Physics and Calculus for a Tutoring franchise, and currently a Math tutor at a Tutoring Business. My professional experience includes understanding and designing electronics circuits, microprocessor circuit design (board level, not microelectronics chip level) and programming. I have a broad understanding of programming (C, C++, CSharp, and assembly language).
My many years of Engineering experience and experience with having raised 7 children, allows me to be a very patient teacher. If you are struggling, let me help you. There are no bad or stupid questions, and many ways to solve a problem. My approach to teaching is to guide and coach a student to understand the problems in a way that is most appropriate to their learning styles and personality." less...
