"Hello, my name is Doug, and I believe I can be the BEST ACADEMIC TUTOR for you! Born and raised in eastern/central rural Pennsylvania, with interests in sports, music, movies, and reading.

I began tutoring as a freshman in high school, and now have over 30 years of tutoring experience in a variety of courses/subjects, including math, physics and engineering!

I earned my BS in Engineering Science from Penn State with a minor in Engineering Mechanics. I was also a Schreyer Honors College student, Dean's List, several honor societies, and graduated with honors. I was a peer tutor for the university and aided students in many of the math, science, and engineering courses. I continued my education earning MS & PhD in nuclear engineering from Penn State. I have also had the pleasure of instructing physics and engineering courses for Penn State.
