"Hi My name is Omri. In the last year I have returned to teaching after a career as a software engineer. I specialize in tutoring Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Precalculus, Calculus to students in grades 7-12.

I have spent a total of 9 years working as a software engineer, with 3 of those years spent at Intel and the other 3 at General Motors. During this time, I have worked on various software projects, from developing code for autonomous vehicles to creating programs for advanced processor designs. This career as a software engineer has given me a unique perspective on mathematics and its practical applications.

I hold a B.Sc degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel, and have gained valuable tutoring experience as a math and physics tutor for college engineering students in the past, and math tutor for high school and junior high school students in the last year.

I believe that every student has the potential to excel in math with the right guidance, and it's incredibly fulfilling to see my students' progress and confidence grow as they grasp new concepts and solve challenging problems.

As a math tutor, I strongly advocate for a student-centric learning approach. This means that I work closely with students to understand their goals and their strengths and weaknesses, and create a personalized learning plan that is tailored to their needs. I consider myself results-oriented and committed to helping students achieve academic goals." less...
