"When it comes to teaching, manifesting a positive demeanor is of pivotal importance, but even more important is demonstrating excellent teamwork skills. Developing a sense of companionship with the students is essential in not only the student’s success, but even the teachers as well. Throughout my high school tenure, I have taken part in a variety of wonderful teaching opportunities that enabled me to learn the value of working together, whether it be with students or with teachers.

I truly enjoying teaching because I sense a great deal of value in helping others. It is even more welcoming to work with younger students because I have been through that stage once in my life. As a student who took part in a specialized early college initiative program offered at my high school, I want to connect with younger students and bring them to great levels of success as well. I truly value these life changing connections as it allows me to view life through another perspective. I am also completely flexible with timing as my current college semester schedule offers me plentiful of free time.
