In 2010 I completed the application and training course with Kaplan premier tutoring and have been working with them since. My first student raised her ACT score by 4 points.
I am currently tutoring two students from my church in math.
My tutoring technique is to lead the students through a couple of problems explaining the methods needed and then let the student do the work. I will not give the answer, but lead the student down the path giving as much or little help as I feel they need.
