"I have worked more than 23 years as a Nurse with amazing experiences. Have worked with Geriatrics, Adults and Pediatrics. I have worked in many aspects of Nursing. ICU, ER, Med Surg. Home Health, Geriatrics and Management. I have always prized continuing education and growing as a nurse. I have also worked in the pre-hospital setting as an EMT-I for 34.5 years. While in the EMS business have worked in the teaching aspects of EMS also by teaching First Responders, EMT's and EMT-I's. In Nursing have also taught CPR, CNA's and am certified to teach CMA's with the state of Kansas. Have truly loved my career and would like to help others with their dreams.
I have also been active in numerous societies while workiing including the following: The Kansas Emergency Medical Technician Association, The Kansas Emergency Medical Services Association, The Southwest Kansas Regional Trauma council, The Southwest Kansas Emergency Medical Society, The American Nurses Association, The Kansas State Nurses Association and the one I am really proud of is being a member of Sigma Theta Tau, The National Nursing Honor Society.
