"I'm Vishnu! I'm a recent graduate with an MS in Applied Math and Statistics from Stony Brook University and a BA from UC Berkeley in Data Science. I've been tutoring/teaching since high school, and love helping students form connections about course material so they have a more robust understanding. My students almost always come away with stronger fundamentals and better grades/scores as a result.

I did well in high school math and science, receiving 5's in AP Calculus AB and BC. I also did well on my ACT and GRE (34 and 328 respectively) and would be happy to help students work efficiently under time pressure to get the scores they're aiming for, and hopefully even better.

While in college/grad school, I took courses in applied math, computer science, statistics, machine learning, algorithms, and probability, and was able to apply what I had learned in the real world in software engineering and as a research assistant/intern in computational neuroscience, computer graphics, and bioinformatics.
