I am currently substitute teaching and tutoring while working towards my Single-Subject Teaching Credential in Math, and will hopefully then be teaching full-time at a high-school or middle-school level. I have been programming as a hobby for my entire life, mostly robotics and game development, and I am active in a number of STEM communities: I help mentor a high-school FIRST robotics team and provide guidance to a group of young programmers. Outside of math, building cool stuff is my passion, whether it's an awesome robot or a fun game, and I love to share that excitement and inspire others to feel the same way!
Tech-wise, I am able to tutor for a range of experiences, with a focus on fundamentals, data structures and algorithms, programming patterns, and game development. I am most skilled in Javascript/Typescript, C#, and Python, and have plenty of experience working in a myriad of other languages, most notably C, C++, Java, Haskell and R.
Math-wise, my specialty is category theory, but I am able to tutor:
- Anything at middle school or high school level
- Up to Differential Equations / Real Analysis on the undergraduate Calculus track
- Group Theory / Abstract Algebra" less...
