"I have had teaching responsibilities since I began graduate school. At SUNY at Buffalo, I was an assistant for courses in calculus of a single variable, multivariable calculus, and linear algebra; at SUNY at Brockport, I was the instructor of a course in basic algebra. Currently, I am a graduate student and adjunct instructor at Binghamton University. I have taught calculus of a single variable - both differential calculus and integral calculus, linear algebra, and a course for liberal arts majors. I have also tutored students in probability and number theory. Throughout these experiences, I have gained an appreciation for the teaching of mathematics. It is an art that is intended to attract, even captivate, the attention and imagination of students. Students see my excitement about teaching. Most find my enthusiasm infectious.
