My interest in STEM revealed itself early on through a natural gravitation towards math and science classes, and my desire to inspire the next generation of learners comes from the lack of academic resources I had available growing up a first-generation, low-income student from South LA. In my eyes, it's critical for every student to have access to quality help when the material they are faced with starts becoming more difficult or is simply one of their weaknesses to work on.
