"Hi,
I hope things are going well for you. I’ve tutored elementary to high school students for over 5 years in English, Science, and Math. I’ve also tutored college students in Calculus I, Pre-Calculus, College Algebra, and lower-level math courses for around 4 years. Currently, I am a math tutor at Baruch College in New York City.
Math has always been my strongest subject. I’ve excelled in Regents exams, in class, and in college. I scored above 90 in Algebra I and Algebra II, earned a B+ in College Pre-Calculus, an A in College Calculus I, a B in Calculus II, an A in Algorithms and Programming I (Python), and a B in Linear Algebra and Matrix Methods (which combined theoretical and applied approaches). I’ve also performed well in advanced courses such as Real Analysis, Combinatorics, Graph Theory, and Probability. Additionally, I’ve taken courses in Machine Learning, Data Structures, and Algorithms. I’ve been trained by Baruch professors who are experts in their fields and hold PhDs from Ivy League institutions and other top-ranking universities. Beyond teaching complex math, I am fully qualified to teach basic math to students from K-12 and to help students prepare for the U.S. citizenship test.
I graduated from Baruch College with a degree in Mathematics and minors in Computer Science, Political Science, and Communications. I plan to teach Math and Computer Science in the DOE and pursue a master’s degree soon. My long-term goal is to earn a PhD and continue sharing knowledge with individuals who thirst for learning, are curious about deciphering the universe’s mysteries, and who aspire to create a better future for everyone.
I believe I have what it takes to be an effective tutor because the students I’ve worked with so far have shown exceptional growth. I would love to share my experience with you and help you improve your skills.
I am available most of the time, so please feel free to reach out, and we can devise a plan that works for you." less...
