My name is Alex and I have tutoring experience in a wide variety of math subjects including tutoring for the math section of the SAT/ACT, Algebra I & II, Statistics, Probability, Precalculus and Calculus. I graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University with a major in mathematics and mechanical engineering and currently work as an engineer for a clean energy start up company.

I believe that learning and understanding foundational math concepts is the key to success in any school subject and career path. My goal as a teacher is to empower students to think independently and confidently about their work so that they can learn how to problem solve not just in math, but in everyday life!
