Mr. A holds Advanced Professional Teaching Certificate (APC) from Maryland State Department of Education as well as the certification for Outstanding Educator in Gifted and Talented Education from Maryland Advisory Council for GT Education. He received teacher of the year award for three years in a row. Throughout his career, he coached math teams for local, state, and international math competitions such as AMCs, ARML, Math League, Princeton University Mathematics Competition (PUMaC), World Math's Day, Maryland Mathalon and MathCounts.
