"I have a Master of Arts in Mathematics and Statistics from Eastern Michigan University. I graduated with honors. I received the Doc M award for excellence in mathematics from Eastern Michigan University. I have tutored mathematics at Eastern Michigan University and Community Colleges for several years. I received three awards for outstanding tutor from Eastern Michigan University. I am C.R.L.A. tutor certified from Oakland Community College. I have taught calculus, statistics, math modeling, and algebra at the college level. I am a member of The Mathematical Association of America.

I love learning and I love sharing what I have learned with others. I enjoy helping people with math. I understand the struggle one goes through to try and make sense of the material. ANYONE can be a mathematician if one desires. It just takes effort and time. I can help relate mathematical language and processes to facilitate an understanding and respect for math. Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity is used in GPS navigation systems to give precise targets of location. Michelangelo used the Golden Ratio in his sculpture of David. The harmonic series is mathematical music describing sound. The Pythagorean Theorem is just as true today as it was thousands of years ago. 1+1=2 is true, and there is no debating that.
