"Hi! My name is Len. I am an advocate for mathematics education and mathematics literacy. I earned my Bachelor's degree in secondary mathematics education. I was hired as a mathematics teacher and taught in the classroom for 14 years. The mathematics classes I taught ranged from 6th grade mathematics to AP Calculus. During this time, I also earned my Master's degree in Teaching.

I soon found I wanted to do more with mathematics education. I became the mathematics literacy coordinator for a college. I tutored college students in mathematics courses up Calculus 1. I assisted students who struggled with mathematics-related courses and quantitative experience courses.
