I enjoy helping students understand how companies make decisions based on sound financial analysis and bringing real world examples and experience to academic problems. I have specific experience with risk/reward, time value of money, PV, FV, NPV, cost of capital, free cash flows, discounted cash flows, stock and bond valuation, and capital budgeting.

I have 26 years of management and leadership experience at UPS and UPS Capital, the financial services subsidiary. I established the finance and accounting team at UPS Capital and then ran the international operations from the UK and finished my career as Head of Strategy. I have an MBA from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University where I also studied abroad at JKU in Linz, Austria and interned at P&G Austria in Vienna. I have a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia. I enjoyed teaching English to Austrian students and have guest lectured on business strategy and finance at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the US.
