"Hello everyone! I am Harshita, a current physical medicine & rehabilitation (PM&R) resident physician at the Schwab PM&R residency program at Sinai Chicago, affiliated with the University of Chicago. I graduated magna cum laude from Virginia Commonwealth University with a B.S. in Bioinformatics and minors in Chemistry and Business. I previously obtained my MD from Eastern Virginia Medical School and served as an interviewing member of the medical school admissions committee. I also completed an internal medicine preliminary year at EVMS and was actively involved in the resident selection committee. As an applicant throughout my career, I have passed USMLE Step 1, Step 2 CK, and Step 3. Additionally, I have also gained multiple acceptances to medical school and interviewed at >10 PM&R residency programs, including top 20 programs.

Throughout my time as a student, I have gained a strong understanding of the admissions process for medical school and residency.
