"Hello! I am a Physician Assistant in the Roaring Fork and Eagle Valleys. I initially studied business early in life but realized later on that I was much more interested in medical science! I went back to school to learn anatomy, physiology, biology and chemistry and then earned my Master of Physician Assistant at Wichita State University in 2014. I have been practicing in family practice since graduating

One of the things that keeps me most satisfied with my work is teaching patients about their bodies. I realized recently that in light of this, I would very much enjoy helping students to learn about biology, physiology and anatomy as well as science in general.

I studied science for a second time as an adult and always scored very well. I have working knowledge of biology and physiology from that education and from my work as a PA for the past 5 years.

Throughout my education, reading comprehension always came naturally and high scores were easy to attain. I tutored other students in ACT prep in high school. My work involves quick interpretation of complex technical writing and medical writing in patient charts. For the past 10 years, just for fun, I have written blogs and articles for my other great passion - river surfing.
