"I have been passionate about anatomy, physiology, kinesiology and health science from an early age, which led me to pursue Yoga Teacher Training in 1999 (Yoga Alliance, E-RYT 500) followed by Massage Therapy education (Arizona School of Integrative Studies) in 2008. I am now Nationally Certified as well as Licensed by the State Medical Board of Ohio for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and have been practicing in a clinical context since 2009. I began running my own private practice in 2013, offering massage, bodywork and yoga instruction, including teacher training. Empowering people around their own health with timeless practices has been at the center of my work so I am excited to help new massage therapists, personal trainers, physical therapists and yoga teachers do the same.

I know the body from a scientific standpoint, as a massage therapist. I also understand the subtle anatomy, known also as energetic anatomy, which is a wonderful way to systematize understanding the nervous system's and endocrine system's functions. My studies began with yoga when I was a teenager, and led me through exploring many dance forms, bodywork modalities and healing arts. I have a growing collection of anatomical reference materials.

Besides the human body, I've also been a professional written-work translator, a managing editor of a newspaper and most recently, copywriter and writing tutor for entrepreneurs showing up online with websites, events and offers. I speak several languages and understand the importance of messaging, letting me focus on clarity and structure - like good choreography.
