"What are you most excited to learn about? I love science, languages, and medicine! As an undergraduate student I majored in Biomedical Science, Modern Languages with an emphasis on Spanish, and minored in Chemistry, all with a 3.99 GPA. I recently graduated with my MD which was funded partially through a scholarship I received for my academic achievements. I matched into residency training, and have successfully studied for and passed all three licensing exams.

My Spanish knowledge stems from a lifetime studying Spanish. I then made an intentional effort to hone that knowledge when I studied abroad in Costa Rica and then Spain. I even successfully took medical school classes in Spanish, and I was part of the medical Spanish club during medical school helping teach my fellow classmates medical Spanish. I received an award on my Spanish capstone as "Outstanding Spanish student" for that year. I love the Spanish language and the opportunities to communicate across the world that it provides and I want to inspire that love in any students wanting to learn Spanish.

I have always excelled in and enjoyed the sciences, which contributed to my decision to pursue medicine. I have 3 years experience tutoring in biology, anatomy, and physiology. I am practiced at teaching these subjects as they continue to be relevant to my life today and I am able to break them down into simple easily digestible components to ease the learning process. I enjoy tutoring any level of the life sciences from high school to college to medical school.

I am a big believer in learning efficiently by studying for shorter periods with greater intensity to better retain material.
