"Hi! My name is Sakshi, and I am a fourth-year medical student with a B.S. in Neuroscience and an M.S. in Biomedical Sciences. Throughout my academic journey, I realized that what made classes truly memorable wasn’t just the subject, but the enthusiasm and clarity of my professors. Inspired by them, I bring that same energy to my tutoring. My favorite subjects to teach are Biology and English!

I have experience tutoring at multiple levels. In undergrad, after excelling in Genetics, my professor recommended me as a tutor. I led small group sessions, prepared content, and broke down complex topics in Q&A discussions. Additionally, after earning a 4.0 in my writing, history, and philosophy courses, I became a writing tutor. I took a specialized course on teaching college-level writing and helped students refine essays, resumes, and graduate school applications. After graduating, I worked with high school students in science, math, and English, and helped several prepare for the SAT.

My tutoring approach is interactive and structured. I introduce topics in a creative, engaging way before providing clear explanations. I believe in active learning and encourage students to apply concepts through practice. Sessions always include opportunities for independent problem-solving, reinforcing understanding and confidence.

I have successfully completed the SAT, ACT, MCAT, Step 1 & 2, and Level 1 & 2 with high marks and am happy to share strategies that boost test performance. In high school, I earned the AP Scholar Award for excelling in multiple AP exams. Additionally, I have experience working with homeschooled students and those with learning differences like ADHD and dyslexia, ensuring an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
