"Hello, my name is Kevin and I graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor's in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology in 2022. Going into college, I knew I wanted to study neuroscience. For all 4 years of college, I conducted research with a neuroscience-related lab, leading to thousands of hours of lab experience and one journal publication. I also went into college knowing that I wanted to pursue a career in medicine. As a pre-med, I had to learn how to study: my high school study techniques were not up to par, and developing the right way to study took some time. However, I eventually found a way for me to retain information and learn more easily.

I have a substantial tutoring history. I have tutored students in Organic Chemistry, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, and in MCAT prep before for over 150 hours.

I have taken the MCAT twice, scoring a 507 the first take and a 516 the following take. As a retaker, I know what you need to do to raise your MCAT score. I have developed many tips and tricks that I used for myself, that I want to share with my students for their success. The first time I took the MCAT, I prepped incorrectly and I did not get the score I wanted. In the following take, I honed in on my weaknesses and changed up my prep style. I know what it takes to do well on this test.

I also specialize in med school application consulting. In the cycle I applied to, I received 8 US MD interviews and 4 acceptances. I have a lot of experience and expertise in how to approach secondaries, interviews, and letters of intent.
