"I am a medical student at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and minors in math and chemistry. For over 8 years, I have tutored students in math, biology, english and chemistry. As an aspiring cardiologist, I have been hard working and scored excellent grades. I love working with students and working with others is something I enjoy immensely.

My teaching philosophy is having students engaged with interactive lessons so that they can retain the most information while remained active in their studies. I like my students to come to their own conclusions with my guidance. The most important thing I believe in is that practice makes perfect and so I like to focus on making long term memories with their knowledge and working on practice questions to challenge their minds and expand their learning.

I have a minor in math from my undergraduate institution and have taken a myriad of math courses throughout my career. I have taught many students math for over 8 years and have taught geometry, algebra, as well as pre-calculus. I also have experience teaching elementary math as well and love working with younger children.

As a medical student, I have extensive knowledge in the field of biology, biochemistry, and physiology. I have an undergraduate degree in biology and have been taking biology courses my entire educational career. Additionally, I have taught both high school and college level biology as well as physiology to my students in the past.
