"Hi, I’m Lea! I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and am now pursuing a medical Career. I am Lebanese and am fluent in English and Arabic. During my college years, I realized that the professors who made the most impact were those who made complex topics accessible and interesting. They were always patient and willing to go the extra mile to clarify concepts, and I strive to do the same with my students. I believe in breaking down challenging topics into simple, digestible pieces while making learning an enjoyable experience.

I have experience tutoring students in various biology and science-related subjects. I’ve worked with individuals ranging from high school biology students to college-level courses. I’ve worked as a learning assistant for a college biology course , an Ace tutor for multiple college courses such as physics, biology, chemistry, and algebra, a mentor for first year college students, and a personal tutor for a high school student for a total of 3 years. My approach is to use interactive methods such as visual aids, practical examples, and active recall to ensure that students not only memorize the material but also have a deep understanding of it. My goal is to help each student build confidence and develop the critical thinking skills they need to succeed. I take a student-centered approach and adapt my tutoring techniques to each individual’s learning style. I believe that every student is capable of mastering the material with the right support and encouragement, and I aim to provide that in every session.
