"Hi there, my name is Nathan Franklin.

I am a 2016 graduate of Pomona College and in Fall 2018 I am beginning a Master’s Degree Program at Northwestern University.

I have been tutoring since I was in high school, so I have 6+ years of experience now. While in high school I tutored students in math classes that I had previously taken, and in college I expanded my subjects to include more math, some chemistry, english, and many others. During the summer I began to help students prepare for standardized tests, and have taken on students in ACT/SAT/GRE preparation. My students have ranged in age from 4th graders to post-graduates.

I am a very reliable tutor, who will show up prepared for your sessions and not cancel without notice. I really enjoy working with students and seeing them improve and become independent learners. I focus on teaching not only how to beat a given test or class, but how to approach problem solving so that a student’s progress is felt in any academic endeavor he so chooses.
