As a hobby, I work with VR games and create assets / scripts for them as well. I love trying new things and am always keeping myself covered in projects, both the professional and personal! I have taken high (honors/grad) level courses in math ranging from basic algebra to Calculus 4 (Differential equations). I have taught students these subjects as well. I have been programming in Matlab for many years, and have used it mostly for educational projects, but have also used it in personal projects as well.
I prefer to start with fundamental theories of topics, so expect the start of any sessions with me to be filled with questions so I can gauge where to start with you before we attack the larger scope of things. It makes sense to ensure fundamentals like single variable calculus are well covered and understood before tackling partial derivatives after all! This is how I worked in the past, ever since I volunteered to tutor and assist at various clubs / hackathons during college and beyond, or assisting people with programming challenges remotely online. For this reason, I generally have more experience with one on one tutoring but I am no stranger to helping small groups either! And given the subjects at hand (calculus, programming, linear algebra, etc), my students do tend to be a bit older (usually high school senior or above) but I don't mind working with anyone so long as they have a desire to learn!" less...
