"Hi my name is Mit! I am an undergraduate student at the University of Florida majoring in biology. In college, I learned that it is important to find efficient study methods and determine weaknesses in how you process information. I have been able to create new methods and consistently use them to improve my performance throughout the last 3 years in college. During high school, I utilized the same methods in improvement and was able to help other students in improving as well. I try to mimic the same methods when assisting other students. I put high emphasis on doing practice problems and dissecting incorrect answers. I mainly specialize in math as I have always found it easy to understand and apply in the academic setting. Throughout middle school and high school, I have assisted classmates in algebra, geometry, and calculus as well as any other mathematics discipline under.

In college, I try my best to apply these skills by being a teaching assistant in courses as well as mentoring students in elementary and middle schools. I have found students that needed plenty of help in math and have shown improvement since the time I started assisting them. In the classroom setting, I have provided one on one help for students so I can see where they struggle and point out how to improve in areas they lack in.

I have over a year of experience teaching students genetics and physiology via Zoom. I help pinpoint their weaknesses and provide practice problems to reinforce their strength in certain areas they are struggling in.
