"I have taught grades from Kindergarten to 9th grade math for over 11 years. I have taught all grades in elementary school in a self contained classroom. I have taught students with special needs, DHH, and also GATE students. Along with my multiple subject credential, I also obtain a concentration in mathematics. This allows me to teach math as a single subject in middle and high school. In the middle school, I have taught advanced math to GATE students and I have also taught math intervention classes using online programs such as PLATO, IXL, Quizizz, and etc. At the school site, I have also taught the after-school math program where I was able to help individual students and small groups with extra math help and their homework. I have taught common core math for 6th grade math, prealgebra, and Algebra.

I am very familiar with teaching classes on zoom, as I taught classes during the pandemic. I also have certification as a reading specialist. I am able to help emergent readers with their reading skills and learning their phonics. I am passionate about working with children and students." less...
