"I'm Lindsay! I am a 6th grade math and science teacher. I also teach special education. I have a Bachelor's degree in Childhood Education and Master's degree in Special Education. I currently teach in the middle school setting and have experience teaching grades 1-4 throughout my educational preparation and professional work experiences. I have taught all elementary subjects following the common core curriculum. Being a special education teacher, I am always looking for strategies that will help my students succeed and feel confident. I have been trained in many intervention strategies and evidence based practices.

Working as a lower elementary teacher, phonics was a major part of the ELA curriculum. I am familiar with decoding strategies and helping students correlate sounds with letters or groups.
